Tarsier

Tarsier are found in Sumatera, Philippines, Kalimantan, Sulawesi Island, Sabah and Sarawak. The tarsier is a protected species of primate. It has a small body and it weigh around 80 - 165 grams. Its body length about 85 - 160cm with a tail measuring about 130 -270mm in length. It has a pair of big round eyes to help it hunt for food at night. It feeds on insects, frogs and birds. The tarsier is a carnivore. The tarsier is sensitive to its surroundings. It will always keep an eye open even when it is resting.
